Shah Rukh Khan New Film Jawan
As the much-anticipated film "Jawan," featuring Shah Rukh Khan, approaches its release, the Indian film industry is abuzz with predictions about its potential box office performance. The global advance booking for the film is nearing an astounding ₹45 crore, according to reports from Sacnilk. Notably, "Jawan" has become the second Bollywood movie to exceed the one-million mark in advance ticket sales.
Shah Rukh Khan's previous film, "Pathaan," was the
first to achieve this feat, selling 1.08 million tickets on its opening day.
Impressively, "Jawan" has already surpassed one million ticket sales,
with more than 20 hours left before its first screening. It stands poised to
potentially outdo "Pathaan," setting a new record for the highest
opening-day pre-sales in Bollywood history, as indicated by Sacnilk.
Girish Johar, a renowned film producer and industry analyst,
envisions the movie's global opening day earnings to be around ₹100 crore. He
anticipates approximately ₹40 crore coming from overseas markets and ₹60 crore
from the domestic market. Johar is confident that "Jawan" will
surpass the opening figures of "Pathaan," a blockbuster hit. He even suggests
that the film could amass up to ₹60 crore within India, across all languages.
By the end of the weekend, Johar envisions the global total to reach ₹300
crore.
