Massive Protest in Gilgit Demanding wheat Subsidy and Charter of Demands

The Awami Action Committee arrange massive protest in Gilgit city and other districts of Gilgit Baltistan. They want the government to give them cheaper wheat and fix other issues listed in their plan.


Protesters came early in the morning with signs and posters asking for help. They really want the government to make wheat cheaper because it's too expensive for many families.


The leaders of the protest spoke to the crowd. They said that life is getting more and more expensive, and not having cheaper wheat makes it even harder for people with less money. They promised to keep protesting until the government listens to them.


Police were there to make sure the protest stayed peaceful. The people in the protest were peaceful, talking about their problems with speeches and signs.


People who live there and joined the protest talked about how tough it is to pay for things. They said the government needs to help them by making things cheaper.


The protest will keep going until the government does something about their problems. The local government has not said anything about the protest yet, and people are waiting to see what will happen.
